Serving Together

Serving family together - usually food.

But some of the best fun is serving our church - Providence Baptist - and our Lord, Jesus Christ. What is our secret to making it a 46 1/2 year marriage so far? Only by the grace of God! It is His great faithfulness to us that has been the key, not anything we have done. Except of course, that we follow the admonition to not let the sun go down upon our wrath (Ephesians 4:26b). That has led to a few sleepless nights!
Our encouragement to you = Don't give up. Your marriage is important to the Lord; it is the symbol of God and the church. When you feel weak, remember that God is faithful and he will do it by His Spirit (2 Thessalonians 3:3, Zechariah 4:6b).
